Sweet Little Peanut

I'm a bit behind on my posting, but I just have to post a few pics of a friend's newest little gem!  My friend and her husband had a baby girl the end of January and I was able to sneak over and take a few

pictures of her.  She was SO tiny and just the most precious little peanut ever!  Being around their beautiful

little girl sure made the excitement level raise in anticipation of our own baby that will be here any day now!

Nesting!

One of the fun things about putting together the baby's room has been picking out all of the furniture and trying to make it not too girlie and not too boyish since we don't know what we're having.  We gave ourselves a budget for the room and I really couldn't justify spending a lot of money on a brand new glider....ta da!  My amazing cousin offered me her old glider she used with her son. 

So...here it is!  My first attempt at recovering a piece of furniture.  I must admit that the best part was getting to use the staple gun on the ottoman hehe!
