Hello!? Is anyone out there???

So it's only been three years...I mean that's not THAT long right???
I must admit that my version of blogging turned into less and less of me actually doing the blogging and more and more of me following and admiring all of these other people with the strength and willpower to stick to it!
Though I've been absent from keeping up with my own blog, I've dived into hundreds of others that I have become obsessed with following and reading on a weekly basis.  My husband has surprisingly gotten used to me laying in bed reading what these people are doing with their lives...and talking about them like we're long lost friends! That's not weird right??!  Right... ;)

My interests sure have changed- I still have a love for photography, I mean how could I not with two beautiful little girls!?   But I have dived into reading blogs about parenthood, cooking, children's crafts, DIY projects...the list goes on.

With having two little girls now, and a wild two year old black lab who requires more attention than our baby at times.... I have found it to be a tough job to feel like I'm going to remember all that we're doing with our life!  I am AWFUL at updating their baby books.  I take HUNDREDS of pictures, and print them two years later.  NOT joking...When our youngest was born and I was getting her pictures printed, I realized the last framed picture I had of our three year old was when she was nine months old!  Eeeek!  I've taken her pics for all the major milestones since then, I'm just lazy with printing and documenting.  So it's time to make a change!  I've always loved journaling and have not done so since I was young, if anything I'm looking at coming back to the blog world as a way for me to have a consistent spot to ramble on.  So read along- and feel free to get lost in our craziness!

Perfect Morning for Senior Pics!

I was so excited to meet up with Griffin to do his
senior pictures.  Not do I just enjoy senior pictures in general, but
I love when I get to do a shoot for someone at their home
or someplace else that's of importance to them.
I had such a great time taking Griffin's pictures.  He is already having
what sounds like an exciting senior year!

The Actress in the Family

My sister in-law is such a phenominal actress.  She has already one
a Grand Award and we recently found out that she was nominated
for another one!  We're all pretty excited for her :)
We all know how many changes we go through during college, and
Chelsea is no different.  She was in need of some new headshots
to send out for acting jobs, so we took a few one Sunday before
family dinner.  Here you go sis!

Easy Fall Porch Decor

Football, Cider, Crisp Falling Leaves, Pumpkin Spiced Latte's....
FALL is here :)  I pulled out my fall decorations and just wasn't
as in love with my front porch decorations as I have been in
years past.  I rummaged around in the garage to try and
find some inspiration with things we already had
that I could do a quick facelift to and I am
so excited with the end result!  Take a look!

I started with this old milk jug, and sanded it up so I
could spray paint it a fun bright orange color.

Then I took an old black picture frame that I accidentally dropped and broke the glass in....ooops!  So happy I held on to it though!  I painted it yellow, then scruffed it up with some sandpaper.

Then I took some sticks from our yard and broke them up and spelled
out FALL and hot glued them together.  Then I
grabbed some yarn and hung them around the top of the jug!
HERE IT IS!!  I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!
Paired it up with a $1.99 fall flower/pumpkin planter thing I found at Goodwill
and ta-da!  An easy and fun updated fall porch project!

If you have any fun diy ideas, please share them with me!  I'm always
up for a fun crafty challenge :)

Here He Is!

I've been REALLY excited to get these pictures up!  I spent
so much time with Jake and his family the day we took pictures, and we
had a blast :)  It's always nice when the person behind the lense
is giving some genuine smiles that day too =)

So....here you go Jake!  I hope you have an amazing senior year!
