The End of a Season

As much as I love fall, it's still so sad to slowly watch all the leaves begin to turn and my flowers slowly fade away! Below are some shots I took over the past week
while out and about.
Nothing too exciting, but still some pretty shots before we head into the fall season.
I can't wait to get some beautiful pictures of Michigan's most vibrant season.
Until then...enjoy!
One of the cornfields near our house...the stalks are slowly losing their green!
Ahh! One of the first leaves has fallen off the tree in our front yard - and while I was snapping a shot of this leaf one crazy little fly landed on it! I couldn't resist :)
I just love how the sun is shining through the clouds in this picture.

So Inspiring

In setting up this blog site, it has been so great to hear feed back from people on what they think of my pictures. The reason for this is mostly because I need constructive criticism from all of you! The only way to improve is to learn from my mistakes and errors in the shots I do. So please please please leave comments for me to get a feel for your opinions!
I have spent a lot of time (well hours actually!) reading blogs of other photographers and seeing all the different types of photography that is offered. It is truly amazing the talent that is out there. One of my favorite blogs is also a friend of mine, and recently my husband Pat and I did one of the newly popular "trash the dress" sessions with her to celebrate our upcoming 2 year anniversary. It was so much fun! Pat was a little nervous about this at first, but after looking at the pictures there is nothing he needed to worry about. They are so fun and Alexis is an absolutely amazing photographer. If you have a chance, please check out some of the fun shots she captured! here is a link to a slide show of the pictures http://www.studioxplore.com/kristin_pat/index.html
and here is a link to her blog http://studioxplore.wordpress.com/
Alexis! You are so amazing and such a great inspiration to all aspiring photographers! Thanks for such a great afternoon :)
